We're looking for an incredible Financial Analyst to join our Vancouver Support Office team in Vancouver, BC.

The Financial Analyst plays an integral role supporting our fast-growing international operations (Canada & UK). Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role is ideal for a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced environment, who is constantly striving to improve business information and reporting and can analyze trends, make recommendations, and support decision making.


What you’ll do


  • Prepare and analyze daily, weekly and monthly sales and KPI reporting
  • Prepare reporting to support trade insights at weekly management trade meetings
  • Prepare and analyze weekly product trends and margin
  • Improve and develop KPI dashboards, leveraging data from multiple systems and sources
  • Support the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting process by building weekly revenue forecasts and cost budgets for retail stores
  • Partner with the retail, marketing and product team to analyze business trends, identifying areas for potential improvement and risk 
  • Support the month end process with expense coding, P&L review and variance analysis
  • Complete and file monthly statistical returns
  • Other Ad hoc financial analysis as required


Experience


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent
  • CPA or working toward completing this qualification
  • 1-2+ years’ professional experience within a dynamic, fast-paced corporation, retail background a plus
  • Advanced excel and modelling skills; can build and adapt models in excel and are comfortable with complex tasks
  • Looker and Netsuite experience a plus
  • Extremely organized, detail oriented and takes pride in quality
